Code of conduct

Actualizat la 24 septembrie 2026

1. What we expect

Rooms are somebody's living room. Trash talk during a match is part of the game; making someone not want to come back is not. Assume the other player is a person having a bad day, and give them the benefit of the doubt once.

  • Let people play badly in peace. Everyone was new to a game once.
  • Respect the host's rules for their room, even when you disagree with them.
  • Speak the room's language where you can, or switch to English so nobody is left out.

2. What gets you removed

  • Slurs and abuse based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexuality or disability.
  • Threats, stalking, or sharing someone's personal details without their consent.
  • Sexual content involving minors — reported to the authorities immediately, no warning, no appeal.
  • Cheating, or distributing cheats and hacked clients through our rooms.
  • Deliberately ruining matches: repeated team killing, disconnecting to spite people, blocking a lobby.
  • Spam, scams, phishing links or unsolicited advertising.
  • Using rooms to attack other systems or to share illegal material.

3. If you host a room

You can set your own additional rules and enforce them — kick, ban, lock the room with a password. What you can't do is use that power to harass someone, and you can't run a room whose whole purpose breaks the rules above.

Community owners are responsible for moderating their own channels. If a community stops moderating itself, we step in and, in bad cases, close it.

4. Reporting someone

Right click a player in the app and choose Report, or write to conduct@lanorbit.com. Tell us the room, the approximate time and what happened. Screenshots help a lot. Reports are confidential — the person reported is never told who reported them.

5. What happens next

We look at the report, the room logs and any previous history. Depending on what we find: a warning, a temporary suspension of a few days, a ban from a community, or a permanent account ban. Serious cases skip straight to permanent.

Paid time on a permanently banned account is not refunded, except where consumer law says otherwise.

6. Appeals

Write to conduct@lanorbit.com within 30 days. A different person from the one who made the original decision reviews it. We answer within ten working days and tell you the reason either way.
