What LAN rooms do
A room puts everyone on the same virtual network, so games that only support LAN work over the internet.
- Open Rooms & VPN in the rail.
- Pick a room, or create your own with the game, region and capacity.
- Press Connect VPN — you get a virtual IP on the room subnet.
- Launch the game and use its LAN browser; the others show up as local players.
Tip. Ping colour tells you the quality: green under 40ms, amber under 100ms, red above.
