Read the full guideCounter-Strike 1.6 finds LAN servers by broadcasting on the local subnet. Once everyone is in the same LanOrbit room, that broadcast reaches all of you, and the host shows up in the LAN tab of the server browser like it is 2003 again.
- Launch the game and open Create Server
- Turn off the internet server list
- Start the server and check the console
- Tell the room the server is up
- Join the LanOrbit room first, then launch the game
- Open the LAN tab
